Eight members of Innsworth Lodge made the annual fraternal pilgrimage to Blackpool to attend the Meeting; they were treated to a West Lancs 3rd Degree ceremony, with several local variations. Masonic Fire is not practiced by Thornton and Cleveleys Lodge and, after the reply from the visitors by W Bro Peter Brindle, at the Festive Board, the Innsworth Lodge Brethren gave their hosts masonic fire.

The Innsworth Lodge party included an entered apprentice, Bro Richard Brindle and a Grand Lodge Officer, W Bro Peter Brindle. Father and son – now brothers!

“Oh, do get on with it Brother Dad!” W Bro Peter Brindle replied to the toast to The Visitors.

The Innsworth Lodge Firing Gavels were made by W Bro Dave Cave of Ante Meridian Lodge (9500), at the request of the Charity Steward, W Bro Tom Robson, and are sold to raise Innsworth Lodge Charity funds. W Bro Tom contributed a presentation pack of Gloucester Brewery “Cherry and White” beers with a GB glass for the Chorley Auction, and W Bro Bill Beedie presented the WM of Thornton and Cleveleys Lodge, W Bro Alexander Walls, with a pair of the Innsworth Lodge 2018 cufflinks.
