Presentation to “Maggies”, Cheltenham
On 1 March, W Bro Chris Paisley presented a cheque to “Maggies”, Cheltenham on behalf of Innsworth Lodge (8751).
At the Lodge February Meeting, the Brethren of Innsworth Lodge approved Chris’ proposal to support 2 local Charities and, shown here, Chris Paisley presents the first£100 donation to Shalima Khan the Benefits Advisor at Cheltenham. In attendance is Chris’ wife and centre volunteer Joanna Paisley.
“Maggies” provides invaluable support for the practical, emotional and social needs of people with cancer and their families.
Presentation to NSPCC, South West
On 14 April, W Bro Chris Paisley presented the second donation of £100 from Innsworth Lodge (8751) to Bruce Fraser, NSPCC West Glos Branch Chair. In attendance was Caroline Morgan (Gloucestershire NSPCC Staff Community Fund Raising Manager).
Chris is the NSPCC Divisional Vice President for the South West and the donation was specifically for use by the NSPCC Schools Service – Speak out and Stay Safe – campaign.
