Just as masons retain an embilical link with their mother lodge as the place they were received into Freemasonry, so the same can be said for a lodge created from another. Such is the case in the relationship between Innsworth and its mother lodge Chosen Hill. On Friday 8 Feb, several brethren of daughter Lodge Innsworth paid a fraternal visit to ‘Mum’ Chosen Hill to witness the installation of WBro Brian Ashworth as the new Master. Going into the Chosen Hill Chair for the second time, Brian also has the distinction of being Master of Innsworth in 2011/12 and is currently IPM. As with most family occasions a splended time was had by all. During his after-dinner speech WBro Brian spoke of his joy of being a member of both Lodges and of the special bond that tied them together. This was emphasised by WBro Bob Coombes of Innworth Lodge who spoke on behalf of the visitors.
